I know what you mean, but when the roads are "clean" and wet there's no drama. the roads i tend to use are very often dirty (farm traffic, oil and diesel off haulage lorries). But it's a trade off with having 50/50 rubber.
I was in Milton Keynes the other week (good quality roads) in wet/damp conditions and it was like the bike was on rails compared to my normal routes.
