Ok just a quick winter weather update. Since it's got colder here i've noticed the wear rate has dropped right down but the tyres are still gripping well.

We've had alot of frost and ice forming on the roads here and it's been down to -4c and with repeated gritting the roads are still freezing over every night. But the Maxxis are gripping well, no dramas and they are giving plenty of feed back, maybe a little to much but could also be due to me dropping them to 26psi but i've not checked them for a few days so possibly as low as 24psi.

Anyway with sensible riding they are not letting go, any slips have been a progressive slide that's been easy to recover from.
