So I've dropped the XTR a couple of times, both times at slow speed on the grass because the stock tourances are terrible off road... anyway, it's bent my foot brake into the clutch casing leaving tell-tale grooves in the casing. Yeah, it's not a big issue but I noticed that the tenere comes standard with a little protector plate that attaches to the casing, designed specifically to avoid such damage. Great idea, and not sure why they're not standard on the other models! So I inquired at the local Yammie dealer about getting this tiny little protector plate for my R, and they're available but the cost was $69AUD. Massive rip off, as usual for the OEM parts. I thought they'd be about 20 bucks tops.

Does anyone know if anyone on the planet sells these as an aftermarket accessory?
