OK this is great, lots of useful input, in response to tripletom I understand your comment about oncoming traffic, but not for filtering, regularly i filter on motorway and bypasses through 3-4 miles of crawling traffic, lots of people will not see you in their mirrors whilst they doze off on their way home, so lights like duallys angled down can give you a lot of road presence before someone decides to switch lanes. Well I think it helps anyway.
