I'm a bit confused about the naming of each of the DNA stages.
What is what?
Is a DNA stage 1 simply a straight swap of an OE Yamaha filter to a DNA filter with no modification to the airbox?
So what's a stage 2? Is it the replacement of the top of the airbox which results in the removal of the snorkel? In other words this thing:

or just simply the removal of the snorkel?
And Stage 3 is the side of the airbox being converted to filter area, or is that stage 2?

I think I have cleared it up by simply typing it out and posting the links on the OTR website but is it necessary to state Stage 2
and the snorkel removed if they are one and the same thing?
