photographicsafaris is on a distinguished road
3 500 miles later

The Golden Tyre 200, 140 17 is going very well, mostly sealed roads and I am not considering replacing for a further 2000 miles at current wear rates.I would put it at 30% worn, so hypothetically is a 9000 mile tyre...

No noticeable uneven wear, and despite now needing rear brake pads the knobbies are still square. the profile is still rounded , although flattening out, I could do with some more high speed corners. is perfectly acceptable. (The reason for choosing the 140 is for a more rounder profile for on road use.)

The Same cannot be said for the Front Mitchelin T63's which now need to be replaced, the knobs have worn to a triangular shape and it has now reached the point of affecting the steering.
Have decided to get a TKC 80 front and see how that goes.
