Pleiades is on a distinguished road
If I were you, my first port of call would be with MTC. This issue has cropped up here before and people have gone back to MTC who have been very helpful and offered alternative baffle solutions. Also, have a trawl round the furum and see what you can find.

I don't have an MTC system, but over the years I have come across a good number of different baffle/dB killer types. Of all of them, the most effective seem to be the following four designs, all of which could be done as a modification to your existing baffle tube if you can weld.

1) Pepper pot type. Most effective at silencing, and best suited to singles where the exhaust pulse is sudden and the frequency is not diluted by gases coming from other cylinders. Most restrictive in terms of gas flow. The Akrapovic systems for the XTs have thius arrangement. The perforated disc can be either welded on the inside or outside, or both for the full effect.

2) Disc type. More common on multi-cylinder bikes. Louder than the above, but the disc stops the shock wave of a single producing the annoying "crack" sound, which is where most of a problem is with silencing singles. Less restricting on gas flow than the above. (My Exan has this type of dB killer).

3) Combination of (1) and (2). As you'd expect, its a compromise.

4) Welded blind tube with holes. This is the way car baffles are made and a lot of older OE motorcyle exhausts, particularly two strokes. Achieves a similar effect to (1).
