Pleiades is on a distinguished road
That video was released by David's mum and the Norfolk Police on Thursday and shown on our BBC regional news program as a means of raising the awareness of car drivers.

It's caused a lot of debate here and the general consensus in the local community seems to be that the objective of the video has kind of backfired and made the image of bikers look worse and made folk feel sorry for the car driver. Not really ideal?

It happened in March, not a far from me and I know the section of road quite well - it's one of those typical high risk busy English rural single carriageways with loads of junctions we're all familiar with, one where you ride with every expectation that a dim-wit is going to turn across your path at anytime. Not the sort of road where I would choose to be riding at 96 mph and over taking on, and just before junctions. It's a road where defensive riding is the key to survival.

But hey let's not forget, David's mum was brave to release the footage and did it with good intentions in David's memory. Regardless of cause, blame and conjecture, the world has lost a decent man and our thoughts should be with his family. These things really shouldn't happen and are avoidable if together drivers and riders - THINK!
