Indeed I didn't update neither maps or firmware but I drive usually routes which weer built at least 50 years ago. Got to try firmware update though.
BTW traveling old fashion way without sat navs can be even more adventurous...
I am considering for bike riding something like garmin etrex or maggelan explorist where I can quickly upload topo maps.
