Many thanks for the input. It was actually easy to fit and line up. Even my springs are in line. The hardest part was forming the hanger strap neatly around the can.

Seems I was just making hard work of it and being thrown off course by some duff information from the supplier about where to use the spacer.

Too wet here for a test ride today though.
