One of the first things I did was to buy a spare rectifier from fleebay and also taped up the connector on the original to prevent the well mentioned water damage and its subsequent issues. I know it's a bit like 'stock-piling' for the just-in-case scenario but I'd rather have it to hand than not.....Enjoy.
