From what I remember when I read it, it's just the early models with the ecu ending in 00 that are more tricky, the easiest but not cheapest way is a power commander,
I dropped a Kev fuel mod, upped the co setting, air filter, really sorted mine, like I said on your other post it's still there a little but it's very much improved
