As above...mine always only has a small amount in it. I went for a 370kms ride last week. I carry a small hotel shampoo bottle in my kit to drain the oil into and use it in my chain oiler.I only had a few mls.
(The first use for this bottle is to actually top up my engine oil if it gets low as I can get my hand in at a correct angle to pour oil in at the dipstick...this way one don't spill oil onto the radiator)

I too must order the breather box sometime,but I just can't be bothered......yet.
