Scottoilers are worth their weight in gold - I got 24K miles out of the OE chain and sprocket set. I have the e-System, which is better and more clever than the the V-system, but not better enough to justify the extra outlay. Fortunately I aquired mine for nothing!

"Fling-Flap" mod is a standard old trick I learnt from my courier days in the late eighties. Currently it's made out of flashy aluminium, but can be made out of anything. I recall that in the old days I used ice-cream tub lids, and just cut a new one every time one fell off! Still, whatever you use, they do work - fling reduced by 90%. The "Fling-Flap" is held in place with a single bolt through the top of the chainguard.
