HI guys, have got a small problem and was wondering if im missing anything.

I took the swimgarm of my 2008 XT R model to grease it up, all done, put back on.

Now the problem is when ive put the swing arm bolt through and then go to tighten the nut on the left hand side...I cant tighten it. i cant get the socket in the frame hole. Does that nut sit out past the frame?.. have I placed the bolt in properly?

Am i missing a piece . i know it takes a 22mm socket, but it wont go in in the hole of the frame..and for the life of me, don't know how the hell i got it off.

Ive looked at the diagram in manual, and it just has the bolt and then the washer and screw...am i missing a part of some sort?

this has got to be simple..any tips on this or the best way..its just one of those small things that is doing my head in...

any help wld be appreciated...
