In my experience it's the UK postage that sucks
I've ordered stuff from China more than once that has turned up at my door 4 days later, the second time took longer from UK airport to my door than from a small Chinese town to uk, cause UK dispatch don't work on a Friday after 5 till Monday morning, had bits from Japan to usa to uk in less than a week, then 3 days from UK to my door,
We suck postage
