The bike should settle around 75mm "40%" when you sit on it..
Play with your springing & get the front & rear sags right.
And you may find you dont need lowering links... with
the standard springs you prob won't get it totaly rignt..
but as close as the springs & your weight will let you will
make a vast diffrents to how the bike works..
Don't know about the XT..but the yamaha YZF/WRF come
sprung for a 75/80kg rider from the factory which will give
100mm of sag... 35/40% of suspension travel..
PS... is it a XTR / XTX / Ten ?
