I got a large in a cheap bike cover and it was way to small then a large in a good quality one and it's massive at the front as its more heavy duty and then fits on the rear (well it would if I didnt have a top box on)

so large is the area. I'd advise getting one with a strap for under the bike and if possible straps for the wheels
