I use a lock nut on an extended 4mm bolt to try and hold this in although I hardly ever have it in. I've lost it a few times and each time managed to turn around an go and pick it up. Rather entertaining once on teh A10 coming out of London though!
If you want a picture of the baffle then drop me a pm.
Length of the 28.1 diameter is 24mm then it steps down to 28mm OD for 80mm.

Thanks a lot man! I didn't remember the original thing being that big. I think I'll just have the end of the can welded down to 28mm and not use any baffles at all. Unless somebody has any good arguments why build one after all?
I lost my baffle twice in Finland and finally in Ukraine. Had a new one made in Greece. Lost it already on a motorway in Istanbul

. Made a new one in Cappadocia and this time used two strong 12.9 bolts above and below which did last quite a while until the vibration started banging the bolt around the hole, making it bigger and eventually almost opening the hole to the edge of the aluminum. Then wrapped some steel wire through the hole and the baffle and later on had to use a bungee rope to pull that wire frontward and preventing it from coming out :-).
I've had some other problems with it as well. Had I known the X-Racing can was that bad, I would have used more money and bought the one OTR is selling.
