How i see it is...you have two choices. buy it all from OTR, which is going to cost more than i paid for the bike, or do it with 2nd hand KTM stuff. But i dont think i have the knowledge to do that as when reading your post you obvioulsy have engineering skills. I can follow a Haynes manual & do basic services no probs but thats my limit.

So the other option (i guess theres 3 then?? ) is to get the forks rebuilt, new springs and maybe emualtors fitted...which sorts the internals and seems im no Dakar god would suffice.

But being a little superfical...it still means the forks still look ****e. hence the gaitors/mud guard thing.

i do think theres a lack off aftermarket parts for the Tenere.
