+1. Put in 2.6 litres including filter (in two stages), park the bike, relax and check it if you're worried after finishing a ride. It is most unlikely that the oil will be at its correct level after a few revs in the shed. Don't keep adding oil trying to get it right without riding imo, or you might end up blowing seals.
Once I've filled with 2.6L, I don't worry about looking at it for 600-800km or so. After all, it's only a day's good ride. Or a few days' shorter rides. I figure even if the bike burns excessive oil, it won't run dry in that time. Once it gets a few serious km under its belt I wont be so casual, but for now - meh, it's all good.
