really?? i find it makes a massive difference. example - Last friday rode over some fields, looked fine but all three us found it a tad slippy. We were on higher pressure as we had been traveling some distance by road. Dropped the pressure....hey presto! Was then ragging round the fields with far more grip.
I rode home the other day fully laden on 23.5PSI rear and 21.5 PSI front, i think the bike feels better than when i rode out at around 29 PSI.
It is a faff though changing pressure, im with you on that one.
