I don't agree about quiet exhausts, although I would advise discretion when opening the throttle.

For me the Ten needs to breath to work properly and with the inlet and zorst sorted and the AIS as Uber says the bike's transformed. Noise is good as it lets people (cars especially) know you're there.

My X racing pipe is quiet enough if I keep the throttle action down, but loud enough too if I give it the berries.

Typically if there is a removeable baffle you'll be fine and even then you can re-pack the can tighter.

Your bike will reward you if you get the gas flow right.
