Someone more into the diag will be along sooner but i had the sidestand switch go faulty on me without any code and had to fault find the problem but after cutting out the switch and bridging the wires the bike did start but after a wiggled the wires about found that there is a connector just as it goes in under the plastics which was pretty much rotten.

If your up in there you may take the tank off a on the LHS there are a load of connector blocks which can cause faults as they corrode over time, best to seal them up with electrical sealant after a good clean out.
