Just to add a little more;

The jacket comes with a hydration pouch, so you can put in a small hydro-pack (about 1.5l), there is a hole for the tube and loops on the shoulder to hold the delivery tube in place. I've not used this as I like my trusty Camelbak and the bladder is a little too large. Handy for the long runs though, where you don't need lots of fluid.

The pants are nice and wide at the bottom, not only do they have a side zip to 'flare' them out, but inside the flare is another piece of velcro so you can ride like this and the fastener doesn't flap about. The back of the calf area has another expansion zip, so if your boots are very wide, you can gain a bit extra space. My HG Tuareg MX boots fit under a treat.
As I've already said, the liners can be mixed and matched to the environmental conditions, these are zipped into the bottom on the legs so there is no draughts and it holds back most water, although taking on the deep puddles of the Coach Road did test them to the limit!

Both the pants and jacket have some sort of teflon type coating, so the water/mud runs off at first, this soon becomes overwhelmed in heavy rain and you need to use the waterproof liner.

Comfort wise, behind the knees, elbows and the seat all have stretch fabric keeping the feel of the jacket right.

The jacket comes with CE elbow, shoulder and back protector and the pants have knee only, but the HG HiProtect stuff fits into the hip just right.

This is the first jacket I have bought, ever that has proper waterproof pockets... We've all been there, water gets in but you can never get it out! Well this jacket/pants doesn't say it's waterproof but even in the worst of the wet a few weeks ago, my wallet was dry as a bone in the front pocket - even the �500 HG Master never kept it that dry!

The downside, getting it on is a bit of a faff, there are lots of velcro fasteners and they tend to get into the zips, but remember this is a fraction of the cost of Klim or Rukka, so in my book you have to accept you get what you pay for.

Colours,,, well that's the downside! but you can't see it when it on, and it soon gets dirty. I just need to get on the dirt trails more to hide the 'newness' of it.
