Thumbs up RST Adventure Jacket & Pants

Chaps, I've had these for about 8 weeks now, so it's about time I expressed my feelings...

The stuff I'm talking about is this -> http://www.rst-moto.com/rst-adventure-textile-jacket

I made this purchase as a summer option, wasn't expecting much in the way of warmth or water resistance, just something that would work OK through the summer. I had gone to the shop intent on the HG Valley suit, but liked the RST better.

It comes with a thermal liner and a waterproof liner, you can have any combination you wish (jacket & waterproof, jacket & thermal or all three). I was sceptical about the waterproof option.

However, I have now worn the jacket in freezing rain, snow, wind, torrential rain, and today a rather spirited blast over Hardknott/Wrynose passes in 25c. This is the best jacket pants combination I've had in ,, well,, allot of years riding.

I've been an avid use of HG stuff for the past 7 or 8 years now, and I thought they were the best value for money, but 350 for a suit that easily deals with everything has to be the purchase of the decade so far.

I'm fairly sure it won't work too well in the depths of winter, but I have a HG Master set for that, and if I'm riding a long way in very wet rain, then I'll be covering up with a waterproof, but all in all, the RST is a thoroughly good three season suit.

Just thought I'd share my thoughts, in case anyone is considering this stuff.
