ive made a bit of a mess of my tank ..to late to bother now

but the klr was showing signs of the same problem ..

i managed to polish it up ok but it was going to go the same way as the tenere

i used some carbon sheeting and applied it with a heat gun ...
i must admit it looks ok ... but whether it stays that way is another question ..but it should protect the paint ..
wish id done it on the tenere now but ..hindsight blah blah
