As im knew to the Tenere i was wondering how often you guys change your oil?

I like to care for my bikes and with my fazer i do an oil & filter change either once a year or every 3.5 - 4K using Motul 5100. (which normally takes me about 7/8 months to clock up). The manual says 6K.
