I have an 09 Khaki Tenere and do not have any of the 'associated' problems with it.
I originally had one of the first 08 Khaki Tens and the only real problem was the reg/ rectifier problem.
I have made sure that the connector is correctly put together and have no problems whatsoever.
...........just the usual cush rubbers and crap headlights.
I have an HID now and replace the inner tube on the cush when I replace the rear tyre.
No problems.
