Battery was almost 3 years old so due to be replaced. Replaced it and the regulator/rectifier. Still not keeping charge (volt meter was showing 12 - 12.5 when reving it. Should be around 14 shouldnt it?).
Left me at the side of the m5 last night. Lights started to die as I was riding home from work so pulled over and watched everything else die whilst I waited for the recovery lorry.
Any bright ideas on what it could be? The recovery guy suggested the alternater? not sure where/ how to check it?
