Evening all, Boyd from Durban here.

I have just registered on the site, it;s just what I was looking for, AND it has a South African "interest" (for want of a better word).

So anyways, I have this 2007 XT660X that is in a fairly sad state. You might have read my introduction post, but I'll repeat here. I acquired this corroded/rusted up bike that needs work. I'll have to replace:

• all spokes (corroded)
• inner fork tubes (rusted) and fork seals
• mirrors
• various bolts, fasteners etc.

So folks, I was wondering what you guys do for things like aftermarket parts (like for the mirrors or spokes)? I don't really mind buying the stuff from Yamaha, but then I get the crappy mild steel garbage again, and in Durban, in this humidity, it'll just corrode and rust again. So I'm looking for things like stainless steel spokes, I recall seeing somewhere some nice aluminium mirror assemblies, etc.

I will post this in the main forum as well.

So fellow citizens, any thoughts, suggestions and recommendations?
