I think its great, get as many of them as you can on the road, it solves a number of issues like;
1) Lower general road congestion levels
2) As GULG says, better biker awareness
3) Some of the new riders will graduate to bigger machines
4) Lower volume production costs (the more bikes manufacturers can sell, the lower the unit costs will be, cheaper bikes for you and me)
5) It'll force manufacturers to concentrate on fuel efficiency in the same way they did cars. (on a general note, how is it possible my Golf consistently gives better fuel economy than my Versys 650?)
6) Lots of these new users will be ladies, I like to see ladies riding big bikes, but even ladies riding scooters make me smile!
