I've been using a pair for about 3k miles (maybe more?) and must say they are the best boots I've had for what I want. They arent a MX boot though more trail /touring as they arent as armoured as normal MX boots, nor as tall.
Soles are commando type soles and seem to be softish rubber so may wear quickly if doing a lot of walking in them, though they are comfortable for walking if a little squeaky due to ankle articulation hinge.
Waterproofing has been perfect though they arent the warmest boot so consider thermal socks if using in cold temps or maybe heated insoles.
