After my bike was in for its 1st service a few weeks ago I gave it a quick look over when I got it home, as you do.

I remember reading the thread about the throttle restrictor bracket and had planned to remove it at some point myself.

However, when I looked, the bracket had been removed (I'm assuming the mechanic did this) and they did not mention this to me. I had mentioned the surging at low revs and they adjusted the CO2, which seems to have made a slight difference but I'll need to wait until I get out for a good run.

Is this normal practice for the bracket to be removed at the 1st service? or has the mechanic done me a favour?
