Yep those B&B bash plates are tough ******s, all but one of my bikes have them.

Ok I will have to try and find some pic's of the bash plate for you. I cut out the areas where the H&B bars go by a bit of trial and error but seems ok now.

Yes it was a bit of work using hand files to finish off, did I metion those B&B bash plates are tough haha. A dia grinder with a good cutting tip dose the job fine (wish I had that at the time).

Personaly I would go the Hepco Becker engine bars, they are easy to mount, worked in well with the B&B bash plate (with a little modding) and seem strong enough. They also angle out upwards which should cushion a fall a little.

Hoping my tank is here soon and yes will mount it myself (will let you know how easy etc it is). I will also look at rad guard etc and maybe a tank cover (yep make them to).

Have you though of fork springs upgrade to go with the tank as there will be more weight up front. I have some Wirth progressive springs on the way, will let you know how that goes to.
