check as well the connectors of the ignition coil. Had a wire there, that touched the holding mount of the coil and caused a similar problem.
For the search:
Disconnect all the connectors below the tank - left side and the relais on the right.
If the fuses still blows up you have less to look for.
In case the fuse holds, reconnect one conector at the time and check, when the fuse trips.
Basicly power leads from main (starter relais) to the kill switch and from there back to the ignition relais.
