TB650 is on a distinguished road
20,000kms on my Tenere cont

I have set a spare clutch cable up beside the current cable and will be doing the same with the pull cable on the throttle soon

Case end

Clutch lever end

Positives

Fuel economy is incredible on the 3 states ride it averaged around 19.3kms for a litre of fuel! It does everything well and is a pleasure to ride for long periods, will easily kill a 10 hour, 500 plus kilometre day and you are still fresh at the end of the day. We proved that on the 1100km two day ride Grafton ride in Feb this year.

It will go anywhere, Fish was amazed we ride them up 10 steps on the 3 states ride and they rode up Mt Pinnabar so well. Downhills are the only thing that really test you

They look great and always seem to attract people when parked up at the front of the pub or servo.

Problems
Grip Heaters

My right hand grip heater stopped working on the high country ride I am not sure what is wrong with it, its annoying and I need to have a look at it

The cush drive rubbers wear to fast but Yamaha have responded through Team Moto Yamaha at Blacktown. They are replacing the next set under warranty and are looking at the problem as 4000kms and they are rooted and you will get a vibration when accelerating. This work will be done next week when I drop the bike off.
