I've found that most anti theft devices if declared haven't reduced my premium so I don't bother telling them, but If you do disarm or remove it, tell the insurance company. You might not get a discount if it's fitted but you might find that they increase the excess if it is stolen or vandalised and the alarm wasn't set.
