Well, my rear BT45 has lasted barely 2 months/5k miles so I'm considering a different tyre. My local garage has recommended the Metzler MEZ2 as it's 'more of a touring tyre and will last longer'. �20 more expensive than the BT45 so I'll give it a go and will report back.

Anyone got any experience of it?
