I am going to get a new helmet as a christmas present so have stared to look at what is out there. I have a cheap head so I dont mind a cheapish lid. I have seen a few people use the Airoh S4. I like the look of this helmet especially with a smoke tinted visor option.

My only real worry is the peak, is it literally a pain in the neck and is it noisy? I have read all the forum opinions to date but just thought I would ask the question. I know you can remove the peak but that spoils the look and if that was the case I may as well of just had a "normal" road bike helmet.

Your opinions are valued so let me have them! Please remember I have a large ugly but effective touring screen on my XTX already so I dont currently suffer from any troubles with a standard road bike helmet
