I have them fitted.
On the right side you have to cut a bit around the brake fluid reservoir, otherwise they'll be tilted forward. On the left side I used them about 1wk just moving the clutch lever/left mirror a bit towards the center but the end of the clutch lever still touched the handguard so it had a bit of a spring effect. In the end i filed a bit of the clutch lever so that i could move back the lever/mirror. I think i filed about 8mm. Clutch goes down to the grip now, mirror is back where it should so i don't see my shoulder in it.
The major advantage I see for the KTM handguards is that you can keep the weights. Price would be good too. I think they look good and they are rigid enough, I only fitted them for minimal weather protection and to protect against branches, not for really hard stuff.
