Hi guys, i know this has been covered but there is so much on here and being a 2005 bike i was hoping someone could direct me to the thread i need. I bough a 2005 XTX about 3 months ago. The bike only had 1600miles on it and i was the third owner. I was well aware of the snappy fueling before i bought it and wasn't bothered once i test rode the bike. I figured this is why it had two previous owners and low miles. The bike is also running a two into one scorpion exhaust.
All has been great and i have done a further 1500miles in the time ive had it and its been great fun. Sadly the other day it cut out twice on me on the same day. Both times as i was stopping at a junction.
Basically i wanted to know is there a straight forward fix for this. Is there an alternative ECU from Yamaha that will correct the problem or is there an after market power commander type unit i can fit to sort it.
