Soonish appears to be 3 months

Tried the above without luck. Got enough power to light the dials but not enough to turn her over. I'm slightly impatient (possibly due to indoor parking + CCC's + other people there) and tried without waiting a good few minutes as Selina said. I probably waited 1 minute tops before trying again again with no luck.

Does this mean the battery is dead?

Should I be more patient next time?

Should I hook it up to the car battery for more juice?

*edit* I just thought of something...I think my jump leads are crap. I remember having trouble starting my mates mini with my leads, only for it to start first time with some leads I borrowed from a mechanic friend. Another question mark???!?!
