and just a question , it seems the space between the clamps is also a little bit difference, maybe only a few mm , (I mean the space between clamp and fork below) , but maybe that's normal due to the bending ?

anyhow gonna try this ..

oh and one more thing , should I be worried about the lock mechanism , could this be damaged ? I mean it' still functions well, but this is my life on that bike , I drive it daily and just like it be safe
