Me and a couple of mate's on our Tenere's did Salter fell sunday 11/04.Last minute decision.
We met at the Shell petrol station on the east lanc's at Haydock the junction were it joins the M6.
Then continued up to preston on the motorway turned right on the A59 ,then took the B6478 to Slaidburn.We had a drink at the little cafe in the village then continued onto woodhouse lane for a couple of miles until you reach the gate that starts Salter fell.
Fantastic day,Great weather,One word of advise stay to the left when you reach the second long hill has it has some very big Rock's in the centre of the track.
We rode then onto Wray down the very quiet lane's and upto to devil's bridge for a second Drink and bacon butty.
After that we headed north to Hawes via Dent.
Then we headed south back to Runcorn via Preston.
196 miles.
