For years I could never manage a rear tyre. But as always it's just a matter of the right tools for the job. Soapy water helps for a bit of lubrication as well, but not dishwashing soap - salt!! - you don't want unseen corrosion. Turtlewax or similar car shampoos are salt free. A good pair of long levers is a must - I use these Draper ones. The hooked end is used to push the bead into the rim well although you may need a spacer (to act as a plunger) between the lever and tyre - I use the footrest rubber.
Let's just hope that Mitas don't change their marketing strategy and are able to keep the prices low. As it stands now and if the mileage claims of the E-07's are true, they are the only brand I'll buy in future. I guess we could do our bit by spreading the word (I see Uncle Ricky has already started )
