I used JTs on my original wheelset, and they are great value - however, I would certainly say it is worth paying the extra for a Supersprox if you can afford it - I fitted one on the rally bike, and rode it from Paris to Dakar (that was 8000kms) without any lube, and it still looks almost new...
I've since changed the front (JT) sprocket and chain as the chain was rusty once the bike came off the ship, but am going to stick with the Supersprox on the rear until it eventually wears out!
btw. I can recommend DID 520 VM X-ring chains, again - I used only one on the rally (no lube) and it showed little sign of stretching... it would still be on there if it wasn't covered in barnacles!
