I've got a set of Off-The-Road panniers and pannier frames on my Tenere and I'm happy with them. The panniers aren't as strong as Metal Mule's but strong enough and much cheaper. The frames seem to be as good as MM's and with them the panniers come closer to the rider than with MMs. Don't know about the original Yamaha panniers but I've seen SW Motech's Trax panniers and didn't really like the quality.

I noticed that you live in Finland too so feel free to send me a PM and come and see the panniers if you wish. I live in Parikkala and so does my friend who also has a Tenere and he has Metal Mule panniers on it.
