Iv'e even had the missus sit on the bike with her foot on the break as I'm just pulling the bike over off its stand. Even when in gear??
So the possible silly question is; How the bloomin eck do you get the bloody nut off?

Hi, I have just done mine earlier this week. Anti clock wise it correct, You need to but your bike so that the front wheel is against a wall to stop it moving forward, have the bike on the side stand and stand on the oppisite side, you will need a long bar, now you will have to put one foot on the back brake lean over the bike with the long bar facing the back of the bike so you are going to be PULLING UP, make sure that the socket is on the nut and with a good clean jerk (you might need to do it a couple of times) it will undo. That is how I got mine off once you move it, it come undone easy
