PLEASE NOT WE ARE NO LONGER USING THE O2 ELIMINATOR. 10/4/2010

Without O2 Eliminator for AUD$65,00 You can buy them from here in the UK.

XT660Z Kev Fuel Mod.

Recommended to be fitted with DNA stage 2 filter & pipe, or just a pipe or stage 2 filter.

What you get for your AUD$65.00.

1/ A Kev Fuel adjuster with connector block & the fitting instructions on a CD.

Fitting instructions

1/ Remove the ignition Key from the ignition.
2/ Remove the seat & left air box cover.
3/ Gently push the sensor through the Air Box pushing on the side ribs of the sensor, do not push on the end of the sensor.
4/ Pull the loom & Air sensor on top of the Air Box.
5/ Cut the Blue/Black wire 2.5cm from the sensor, bare the Blue/Black wire by a 1cm fit the Blue/ Black wires in the connector block & tighten the 2 screws holding the Blue/black wires, it does not matter which way around they go. Can you spray the connector block & wires with WD40 spray or similar, or tape up the connector with insulation tape.
6/ Refit Air temp sender in the reverse order.

You can solder the wires together instead of using the white connector block.

How it works

This fuel mod adjusts the Air temperature reading down from the actual ambient temperature. By adjust the temperature reading down the Engine Control Unit (ECU) thinks it is colder then it really is so in turn makes the mixture slightly richer.

When the Knob pointer is pointing at the white marker (12 O'clock position) the Kev fuel mod is turned off, to make the fuel mixture richer you turn the knob clockwise.

Taking the white markers at the 12 O'Clock position you can safely adjust the knob clockwise to the 10 O'Clock position, I would expect the best settings to be around the 3 to 6 O'Clock position.
